Coincidences

Just a couple of quick questions: Are coincidences truly accidents or are they signs/messages that one is supposed to take into consequence? What if you meet someone in a place that you've never seen her/him before? What if you were just thinking about her/him? And what if you are only in that place because where you wanted to be was "out of order"?

Hmm...interesting. I like to believe that coincidences are not just "happy little accidents" but I really don't have any proof either way (which I like to have before I declare my opinion on a subject) Was there an inspiration for this post or was it just musings of your brain in vacation mode?

No, there was a reason. However, I usually tell people that there are no coincidences until one happened to me this afternoon and I wanted to change my mind. It was too eerie otherwise.

Repent! Oh wait...umm...no I don't believe in coincidences. I believe it all has something to do with a big picture, weither we see it or not.

I know the reason now. Denial is a powerful thing. Is it a coincidence that I have not been able to find a job in sac for the last 6 months but I got one in the one week I took off up in Chico? Is it a coincidence that I didn't start the respiratory care program in January when I could of and as a result am not tied to the area. One could say yes, but I prefer to say that "fate" (if you will) is leading me towards where I need to be in order. Doesn't mean that I couldn't fight, deny, or ignore fate. I truly believe that fate (for lack of a better word) is not a fixed concept. It is ever changing. Because we have free will things get changed and alter the course of our "destiny". When your talking about two people meeting thats twice the free will and all the more work "fate" has to do to "convince" both people to be in the same place at the same time. I don't know if any of this makes sense to anybody outside my head but I am rambling now so I'm going to stop.

There is a weird sentence in my previous comment. I feel the need to fix it since you are a teacher but I guess I'll have to get over it because there is no way to do that :-)

I have made a vow to NOT do any correcting of others unless they ask. I'm tired of the jokes about it. By the way, I understood your rambling...brain cell still kicking!
