Seasons of Love

I have been touched recently by the outpouring of concern since my accident. It has made me value even more all those who are compassionate, empathetic and loving. To those whom I love and have loved who are no longer here and even more importantly to those who have loved me I dedicate the following song:

Seasons of Love
by the late, great
Jonathan Larson
from his musical "Rent"

525,600 minutes
525,000 moments so dear
525, 600 minutes
How do you measure,
measure a year?

In daylight,
In sunsets,
In midnights,
In cups of coffee?

In inches,
In miles,
In laughter,
In strife?

In 525,600 minutes.
How do you measure a year in the life?

How about love?
How about love?
How about love?

Measure in love.

Seasons of love (round like echo of other singers-love)
Seasons of love (round like echo of other singers-love)

525,600 minutes
525,000 journeys to plan
525,600 minutes
How do you measure
the life of a woman or a man?

In truth that she learned?
Or in times that he cried?
In bridges he burned?
Or the way that she died?

It's time now
to sing out !
Though the story never ends.

Let's celebrate
Remember
a year in the life of friends!

(Group) Remember the love
(Solo singer simultaneously)Oh you've got to, you've got to remember LOVE
Love
You know that love is a gift from up above
Love
Share love, give love, spread love
Love
Measure, measure your life in love
Seasons of love
Seasons of love (round like echo of other singers-love)
Measure, measure your life in love

OH~~~~~Thank you for giving me something to measure!!!;-)

Did I miss something somewhere? Did you have an accident? Are you hurt? Oh, I hope you're alright.

I'm doing fine. I have a sprained left ankle. It happened almost two weeks ago. I haven't been able to sit for long without being sore so being on the computer was something of a no-no. I did find out that my definition of sprain: something that's sore that will go away quickly is not that of a medical doctor's definition. Apparently to them sprain means torn ligaments that won't heal until at least three to six weeks have passed...and maybe even longer than that. Hey, I can walk...slowly, VERY SLOWLY, but at least I'm up and moving. Thanks for your concern Wendy. As always it's great to hear from you. Looking forward to not being so busy and able to sit for longer periods of time so I can read your blog again and be uplifted.
